Lightwater Car Audio is a small, independent workshop in Lightwater, five minutes from Junction 3 of the M3. We've taken over the workshop behind 58 Guildford Road and run it ourselves: we quote the job, we fit the job and we're the people you speak to if anything needs looking at afterwards.
We fit and set up in-car entertainment — CarPlay and Android Auto, head units, speakers, amplifiers and DAB+ — along with Ghost immobilisers, alarms, trackers, dash cams, parking sensors, reversing cameras, hands-free kits and heated seats. Mercedes retrofits are a specialism: factory CarPlay, digital cockpits, COMAND upgrades and cameras, coded into the car properly. And we take on the auto-electrical fault finding that other garages would rather not.
How we work
We'd rather do fewer jobs well than many jobs quickly. That means a proper conversation about what you want the car to do, a quote with options at more than one price, kit we're prepared to warranty, and an installation you could take apart and be pleased with. If we don't think something is worth your money, we'll tell you.
Where we are
Lightwater is on the A322 between Bagshot and West End, one junction south of the M25 on the M3 — an easy drop-off from Camberley, Woking, Bracknell, Guildford and the western edge of London. Turn in past the front of 58 Guildford Road and the workshop is behind.
Vehicles we know
Anything with a battery is welcome, but three marques account for much of the work: Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen group cars and vans, and Mini and BMW. We also do a steady trade in Ford, Vauxhall and Peugeot vans for local traders.
