The Autowatch Ghost is a small immobiliser hidden in the vehicle's wiring. It connects to the car's data network rather than cutting any wires, which means there is no relay to bypass, no fuse to pull and nothing obvious for a thief to find.
Before the engine will start, the owner enters a PIN sequence using buttons the car already has — steering-wheel controls, window switches, the indicator stalk. Without the sequence the car stays immobilised, even with the genuine key in hand, a cloned key or a relay attack.
Your own PIN
You choose the sequence, up to 20 presses long, and can change it whenever you like. Most owners settle on four or five.
Phone unlock
An optional app lets you unlock the Ghost from your phone, so there's no sequence to remember on a normal day.
Service mode
A temporary code for the garage, valet or dealer that stops working once the car is switched off and back on.
Nothing to see
No LED, no sticker, no extra fob. The car looks and drives exactly as it did before, until someone tries to take it.
Approval and price
The Ghost is TASSA-verified and recognised by many UK insurers, several of whom offer a discount for it. Our installers are TASSA-registered, which is a condition of supplying the product. Fitting takes around two hours and costs £499 installed on most cars; a few models need extra parts, so give us your registration for a firm price.
What happens when you book
Tell us the car
Make, model and year is enough for a quote. We'll confirm the Ghost is compatible — it covers most cars and vans from around 2008 on.
Fitting
About two hours in the workshop. The unit is placed where we'd never tell anyone, and the wiring is finished so it looks untouched.
Set-up and handover
We register the unit, help you choose a PIN, set up the app if you want it and show you service mode before you leave.
