Mercedes digital cockpit

Widescreen instruments, fitted and coded as a factory option.

The digital cockpit is the 12.3" widescreen display that replaces the analogue dials and the small central screen between them. It shows a full-width map, three visual themes, trip and media information, and — on cars with the equipment — the driver-assistance graphics. On a C-Class, GLC or E-Class it changes the feel of the whole dashboard.

What's involved

  1. Confirm the car

We check the chassis number for the head-unit generation and the equipment it has, so the new cluster will talk to everything from the start.

  2. Fit the display

The cluster is a genuine Mercedes part. We fit it with the correct wiring, a cooling fan where the model needs one, and a matching dash trim where the original opening was smaller.

  3. Code and calibrate

The car's data record is updated to include the option, the cluster is coded to the car and the themes and ambient lighting are matched to the rest of the interior.

Which cars

  • C-Class and GLC (W205, W253) facelift cars from 2018
  • E-Class saloon, estate, coupé and cabriolet (W213, C238, A238) from 2016
  • CLS (C257) and some later S-Class variants

Because the cluster is a factory part, everything about it — brightness control, warning lights, service menus — works exactly as Mercedes intended, and the car remains dealer-serviceable. Send us the chassis number for a quote.
